Meet an Ambassador: Lisa Kunkel!
Meet Lisa Kunkel! Owner of Studio 22 Designs & Boutique, and a Wahpeton Breckenridge Area Chamber of Commerce Twin Town Ambassador and past director!
1. Lisa, can you share a bit about your background and how you first got involved with the TTA?
I am the mother of four boys and the proud grandmother of two delightful granddaughters, aged 3 and 7. My journey at the Chamber began in October 2018 when my family relocated to Breckenridge. Before that, I pursued a career as a newborn photography specialist in Grand Forks.
2. Beyond your role as a Twin Town Ambassador, what are your personal and professional passions?
Finding joy in the company of family and friends is my ultimate happiness. We take pleasure in engaging with our children's diverse activities, even though it can be challenging at times. Any opportunity to bond with our granddaughters and their parents is eagerly anticipated.
Upon relocating to this area, I harbored a strong desire to rekindle my passion for photography. The creative process and the connections forged with the people I collaborate with bring me immense satisfaction.
3. What inspired you to join the TTA, and what motivates you to contribute to our organizations success?
On both a personal and professional level, I place significant value on staying engaged. As an entrepreneur, the Twin Town Ambassadors serve as an excellent platform to establish connections with fellow businesses in the community. I derive immense pleasure from listening to their stories and gaining insights into their ventures.
4. Do you have a favorite memory or accomplishment during your time as an ambassador?
The Chamber's Annual Meeting is consistently a source of enjoyment for me. It's a delightful experience to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of the numerous ambassadors and celebrate the successes of our vibrant business community.
5. Share a fun or interesting fact about yourself that most people might not know.
Anyone who knows me knows I hate mornings and I’m usually late for something. LOL!!
